Gungnir (Odin's Spear), Valknut and Freyja Triple Crescent Pendants in Copper (Norse, Viking, Goddess, Heathen, Pagan)
We are pleased to offer you our beautiful Norse pendants. They are based on three very well known symbols. Gungnir the spear of Odin, The Valknut is the symbol of the fallen warrior and The Goddess Freyja's triple crescent pendant.
Gungnir the spear of Odin. In Norse mythology, the dwarves forged Gungnir and enchanted it so that it magically never misses its target and will always return to its owner.
The Valknut is the symbol of the fallen warrior.
Freyja's triple crescent pendant. In Norse mythology, Freyja is believed to be the Goddess of love and war. The triple crescent is said to represent the three Norns. Urd the past, Verandi the present and Skuld the future. They spend their time weaving the threads of fate.
Etched in 20mm diameter of pure copper, it comes with a black synthetic cord, gift back, care leaflet and certificate explaining the mythology behind the symbol.
Each is unique. No two are the same. The photograph is an example only. All items are made to order. We will send you photographs of your item prior to dispatch for your approval.
Copper and it's alloys; bronze and brass, are natural materials with proven antimicrobial properties and although we can make no claims, some say anti-inflammatory effects useful for joint pain. Unless otherwise stated your piece will come coated in a tough invisible transparent lacquer to protect the finish however over time and depending on how its treated this coating may break down. As such, depending on your body chemistry and atmospheric conditions this piece may leave a harmless greenish deposit on the skin. This is easily washed off and can be minimized by keeping it clean and dry or lacquering/waxing it yourself.
