It's based on a Bronze Age petroglyph from Tanum in Sweden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rock carvings of the Tanum region constitute an outstanding example of Bronze Age art of the highest quality.  

Our pendant measures approximately 4.5cm tall x 2cm wide and is 3mm thick (approx 1 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/8")  so quite a weighty and substantial piece.

You will receive your item strung on an adjustable neck cord in a black velvet gift bag with a care leaflet and certificate describing the mythology behind the symbol.

Each is handmade and totally unique, no two are the same. The photograph is an example only. All items are made to order, as such we will on request send you photographs of your item prior to dispatch for your approval.

Unless otherwise stated your piece will come coated in a tough invisible transparent lacquer to protect the finish however over time and depending on how it's treated this coating may break down. As such, depending on your body chemistry and atmospheric conditions this piece may leave a harmless greenish deposit on the skin. This is easily washed off and can be minimized by keeping it clean and dry or lacquering/waxing it yourself.
