The symbol is the "G-A" or "Gibu Auja" (give luck) bindrune, common in Migration Age (Elder Futhark) artifacts, which consists of a Gebo rune with the upper right arm being merged with a smaller Ansuz rune. The phrase Gibu Auja means "I bring good fortune" and is often depicted in threes. There is some speculation that perhaps the sound "GA" Gggaaah! May have been chanted three times as a magical invocation for luck. Solid precious bronze (1.5mm thick) Also available in antique finished copper and brass (1.5mm thick) The ring measures approx 10mm (3/8") wide made to order in any size - specify when ordering. As such, depending on your body chemistry and atmospheric conditions this piece may leave a harmless greenish deposit on the skin. This is easily washed off and can be minimized by keeping it clean and dry or lacquering/waxing it yourself.
